Project description

In this project we aim to define the critical mTOR effector pathways that participate in the development of neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1)-related tumorigenesis. Identifying critical mTOR effectors will help unravel the basic pathology of NF1 and provide important mechanistic insight into the mTOR pathway, which is deregulated in NF1 as well as a variety of cancers.
