Project description
It has been theorized that classical conditioning may explain how chronic pain develops. Pain gets  associated to other neutral and non-nociceptive stimuli during injury time, which become responsible for causing pain in the future. This idea remains untested. The aim of this PhD has been to provide evidence and a clear answer.
