Projectomschrijving

In dit project zullen evolutie experimenten gecombineerd worden met geavanceerde bio-informatica methoden om het ontstaan van bacteriele antibiotica resistentie onder verschillende selectieregimes te bestuderen.Er zal vooral gekeken worden naar 1) de relatie tussen de selectiedruk en het aantal mutaties dat accumuleert in een populatie en 2) de mate waarin dit aantal mutaties de rol van epistase in het onstaan van het resistantiefenotype beinvloedt.
