Projectomschrijving
Het project beoogt de ontwikkeling van rijstlijnen met stabiel verhoogd gehalte aan twee vitaminen, folaat (vitB9) en thiamine (vitB1), en ijzer, door metabolische engineering. Robuuste kwantitatieve analytische methoden zullen worden ontwikkeld voor bepaling van thiamine vitameren. Stabiliteit na langetermijnbewaring en bio-effectiviteit van prototype lijnen in ratten zal worden onderzocht.
