Dit multi-methodologisch project onderzoekt de complexe dimensies binnen de publieke
communicatiestrategieën van internationale vluchtelingenorganisaties rond de recente Syrische en Centraal-Afrikaanse crisissen, daarbij focussend op (1) het productieproces door middel van interviews met deze organisaties, (2) de discursieve praktijken om vluchtelingen te representeren in communicatiecampagnes, en (3) de receptie van deze publieke communicatie door burgers, vluchtelingen en relevante journalisten.
