De determinanten van patiënten tevredenheid na totale knieprothese (TKP) worden onderzocht om patiënten die meest baat hebben bij een TKP te identificeren, optimale indicaties en tijdstip vast te leggen, en informatie gericht op realistische verwachtingen te verstrekken. De resultaten zullen worden aangewend om een score voor TKP indicatie te ontwikkelen om de resultaten en patiëntentevredenheid te verbeteren en de socio-economische impact van vroegtijdige revisie te verminderen.
