Project description

The OperatorKnowledge project targets to the group of High Variety Low Volume assembly companies and their Production Process Integrators. The project will maximize the contribution of assembly operators into the creation and updates of work instructions, because they know about the best common practice. Through an integrated flow of information collection by direct explicit operator input, implicit operator observance and utilization of CAD design information, word instructions will be created, updated and released in order to offer to the assembly operator highest involvement, best work practice and highest flexibility to overcome the burden of continuously increasing product variance and assembly complexity.
