This project adopts an environmental criminological perspective on criminal target selection. It aims to pinpoint the criminal opportunities for burglary. While previous research either considered the target level or the broader environment, this project adopts a three-level approach (target level, street level and neighborhood level) while comparing a sample of burgled and non-burgled houses.
