volatile organic compounds (VOC) atmospheric chemistry biogenic emissions
Project description

Emissions of biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) by vegetation on earth have a big impact on air quality and climate. New field measurements during the overall growth season are necessary to obtain a better characterisation and quantification of the emission, predominantly on the regional scale. This project envisages a first detailed experimental study on BVOCs emissions in Belgium.
