Project description

Copepods play a key role in benthic estuarine food webs. Impacts of environmental change on their abundance and functional traits can have important effects for benthic foods webs and the ecosystem services they provide. This PhD research aims to study environmental change effects (temperature and nutrient enrichment) on copepods and marine invertebrates functional traits and associated ecosystem functioning using biological trait analysis.
