Project description

The determinants of labour market reintegration after burnout are barely researched. We investigate whether (causality), why (mediating productivity perceptions) and when (moderators) employer-sided barriers hinder career resumption by conducting experimental studies (eye-tracking and vignettes). Hence, we reveal burnout stigma and test pathways out of unfavourable treatment. Next to its substantive added value, this project offers methodological contributions and is solution-oriented.
