Projectomschrijving

In hun verdedigde graanspijkers slaan de Berbers hun oogsten en kostbare goederen op. Dergelijke spijkers werden meestal los van het dorp gebouwd op een gemakkelijk en natuurlijk te verdedigen plaats. Men vindt ze van Marokko tot Tripolitanië. De oudst gedateerde spijkers bevinden zich vermoedelijk in Zuid-Tunesië, maar dit onderwerp heeft er nog geen speciale aandacht gekregen.
