Projectomschrijving
Leukemie is de belangrijkste maligniteit ten gevolge van bestralingen bij kinderen. Het hoge risico op leukemie is gelinkt aan de hoge gevoeligheid van het beenmerg, dat de hematopoëtische stam- en progenitorcellen (HSPCs) bevat. Het doel van dit project is om de respons van HSPCs (CD34+) op therapeutische stralingsbundels van verschillende kwaliteiten te onderzoeken.
