Project description
This project aims to engineer a microbial strain to produce a new and vastly promising building block for the production of biodegradable biopolymers. Also, new strategies will be developed to improve efficiencies on carbon uptake with reduced carbon and energy losses, paving the way for the cost-efficient production of chemicals from gaseous carbon sources.
