In line with my broad empirical expertise in quantitative research within socio-economics, this project will focus on methodological improvements and innovations in stakeholder evaluation within the agri-food sector. In this regard, I aim to generate knowledge about the decision-making behaviour of actors along the value chain, analysing both primary and secondary data. More specifically, existing methods in previous studies will be evaluated, with particular attention to measurement instruments and potential biases. Furthermore, through a case study involving various stakeholders, research will be conducted from both empirical and methodological perspectives. A potential case concerns stakeholder research on alternative proteins in the African context, although this will be further assessed.
