Projectomschrijving

Momenteel is weinig geweten rond eiwit-koolhydraatinteracties in plantencellen, en hun rol in de ontwikkeling en bescherming van planten. Ons onderzoek zal zich concentreren op drie topics, nl. (1) fysiologische rol van nucleocytoplasmatische lectinen, (2) studie van eiwit-koolhydraatherkenningsprocessen in de interactie tussen planten en insecten, (3) glycobiologie van planten en insecten.
