Project description

Field data of energy consumption, performance of energy-saving measures, and indoor climate from Belgian houses will be collected, analyzed and confronted with simplified and improved calculations of energy use. The first aim is to quantify the influence of user behaviour on energy-use and -savings. The second aim is to provide improved practical tools for the prediction of real energy-savings on household-scale as well as on regional scale, taking into account varying factors such as user behaviour.
