Project description
The project aims at identifying the biological networks at the microbiome-gut-brain interface. Mouse models will be used for the identification of these networks, which are modulated in response to chronic gut inflammation. Furthermore, it will be determined whether these networks are causally involved in behavioural changes in colitic mice and in patients with inflammatory bowel disease treated for behavioral symptoms.
