Projectomschrijving

Het ectodomein van het Short Hydrophobic eiwit (SHe) van Respiratoir Syncytieel virus zal als recombinant virusachtig partikel worden gebruikt voor de ontwikkeling van een vaccin tegen dit virus. Het beschermend potentieel van SHe-specifiek adaptieve immuniteit zal worden gekarakateriseerd in een muismodel. Aan de hand van passieve transfer van antisera en immuuncellen zal het beschermingsmechanisme van dit vaccin worden bepaald.
