PREVEND goal of the project is to develop a cognitive control training to prevent recurrent depression. On the basis of an iterative, user-friendly development process that is adjusted by a number of validation studies, will be developed a computerized cognitive control training game which is validated within a previously depressive population. It is already providing a hatch for clinicians so the step to future implementation of the tool in clinical practice is small. Adding these to existing treatments allows us to enhance the effectiveness of treatments in prevention of recurrent depression.
