Project description

Based on social identity theory, this project aims to examine two key unresolved issues regarding the instrumental-symbolic framework: possible explanatory mechanisms behind the use of symbolic trait inferences by applicants and the influence of culture on these mechanisms. The results might provide practical implications for (multinational) organizations' image management as employers and talent attraction strategies in different cultures.
