The research aims to develop a practical tool to evaluate the risk of the application of pesticides on river basin scale. Current knowledge about the application on the subject will be coupled geographically with environmental conditions (climatology, slope, …) to create a practical management tool. Starting from (complex) existing process descriptions, possible simplifications will be investigated and a general methodology for model reduction will be developed.
