Reumatoïde artritis is een inflammatoire auto-immuun aandoening waarbij synoviale inflammatie optreedt. In nauwe samenwerking met de reumatoïde artritisgroep (prof. Jacques) willen we evalueren in welke mate microbubbles en ultrasound gebruikt kunnen worden om de lokale synoviale aflevering van corticosteroiden en siRNA te bevorderen en zo ook ongewenste neveneffecten te reduceren.
