Project description

In this prospective study in patients with asymptomatic carotisstenosis the effect of two surgery techniques is evaluated (carotid endarterectomy versus carotisstenting) on neuropsychological functioning. Intra-operative embolic load is registered. Patientgroups are randomized en are compared to an appropriate control group.
