This project fits in the bigger effort of creating a Ghent University preclinical imaging hardware spin-off. Over the last 3 years we have worked intensively on the necessary technology platforms as well as on putting together a key team to enable the start-up. This StarTT-project encompasses one specific technical milestone. In previous StarTT-projects a benchtop microSPECT imager was successfully developed and validated. Meanwhile, on market demand, benchtop microPET and microCT systems are also ready for prototyping.
