Dit project heeft als doel om het Europese onderzoek in het domein van computersystemen en compilatie te ondersteunen en te sturen, de bedrijven en de onderzoeksinstellingen dichter bij elkaar te brengen en de brug te slaan tussen hardwarontwerpers en softwareontwerpers. Het netwerk werd ingediend door 12 partners en omvat een 500-tal aangesloten leden.
