Service Science is a new interdisciplinary research field that studies management and engineering of service systems. Current research challenges include the development of a shared mental model of the service system abstraction and techniques for expressing that conceptualization in service system models. The proposed project addresses these challenges from the perspective of the Management Information Systems field of Conceptual Modeling.
