Ghent University was given an initial mandate to monitor these tutoringprojecten. This led in 2008 to the report Tutors make a difference ', giving a brief inventory was provided by tutoringprojecten in Flemish education and a comprehensive portrait of the eleven projects supported. The present report is the result of a new order of the Flemish Minister of Education at the King Baudouin Foundation. This continued research tutoring ten of these projects are closely monitored and in eight projects a effectenvaluatie was made, both the involved tutees as their tutors.
