Filosofische theorieën over persoonlijke identiteit miskennen vaak de rol van ‘agency’ in de identiteitsconstructie, wat tot een behoorlijke handicap leidt wanneer we de brug willen slaan met de morele psychologie. Dit onderzoeksproject poogt deze brug te herstellen a.d.h.v een analyse van de interactie tussen praktisch redeneren en identiteitsconstructie, verder bouwend op het werk van Christine Korsgaard en op narratieve identiteitstheorieën.
