Projectomschrijving

Het project streeft naar vooruitgang in het mechanistisch modelleren van respiratieprocessen in houtweefsels door de combinatie van spitstechnologie met een model dat water- en koolstoftransport in de plant koppelt. Celturgor en substraattoevoer zullen gemodelleerd worden als sleutelprocessen van respiratie en simulaties zullen gevalideerd worden door monitoring van xyleem- en floëemtransport met behulp van isotopische labels.
