Obesitas en cardiometabole aandoeningen bij kinderen en adolescenten kennen een wereldwijde stijgende trend. Dit doctoraatsproject zal achterhalen of mentale gezondheidsaspecten een risico factor zijn voor cardiometabole aandoeningen bij Europese kinderen en adolescenten, gebruik makende van de IDEFICS/I.Family cohorte studie, om zo preventie en interventie strategieën te versterken. De focus ligt op de rol van slaap in deze assocatie.
