The overall goal of this project is obtaining the investment requirements of venture capitalists, i.e., a convincing proof-of-concept, a strong IP portfolio, a business and financial plan, etc. enabling the creation of a white biotech spin-off engaged in the development, microbial production and commercialization of specialty carbohydrates for use as a food or pharmaceutical ingredient.
