Project description
Running is one of the most popular physical activities. Runners are always looking to increase their running performance, and as such avoid running injuries. Gait retraining is considered a viable strategy to improve performance and prevent injury. This research project examines the effect of gait retraining to increase duty factor on leg-spring stiffness, muscle activity and running economy.
