Project description
 

Het huidige project bestudeert een fundamenteel deficiet in interpersoonlijke perceptie -namelijk een gebrek aan empathisch accuraatheid- bij koppels met relatieproblemen. Empathische accuraatheid wordt gedefinieerd als “het inschatten van de onuitgesproken gedachten/gevoelens van iemand anders tijdens een interactie”. Dit project onderzoekt: (1) de rol van motivatie in empathische inaccuraatheid, en (2) self-threat als primair motief voor empathische inaccuraatheid bij koppels met relatieproblemen.
