Projectomschrijving

Mijn onderzoeksteam focust zich op de moleculaire en cellulaire mechanismen die aan de basis liggen van wondgenezing van de huid en keratinocyt-gedreven tumorvorming. Hiervoor gebruiken wij geavanceerde transgenese, single-cell transcriptomics en gespecialiseerde beeldvorming. Door onze bevindingen in menselijk weefsel te valideren in in vivo en in vitro modellen, beogen we betere therapieën te ontwikkelen voor wondgenezing en kankerbestrijding.
