Strigolactones are newly identified plant hormones that control several aspects of plant development and its interaction with the environment. We will unravel the strigolactone signaling pathways by a combined proteomic and transcriptomic approach. Newly identified components will be studied in detail. Moreover, the function of strigolactones in root development will be analysed.
