Projectomschrijving

Het doel van dit onderzoek is een studie van de innovatieve Byzantijnse metra, binnen het methodologisch kader van informatiestructuur. Dit zal gebeuren op een pragmatische manier, d.i. met oog voor hoe deze metra werkten voor de Byzantijnen. Hiervoor zal gebruik gemaakt worden van een corpus van Byzantijnse boekepigrammen, die reeds verzameld zijn in de ‘Database of Byzantine Book Epigrams’.
