Project description
This project analyzes the emergence and diffusion of two international norms: fossil fuel subsidy reform and carbon divestment. It provides the first empirical test of Wunderlich’s synthesis model of norm dynamics, which draws from constructivist and discursive theories, through a unique combination of process-tracing and frame analysis. The research is based on qualitative empirical material, including interview transcripts.
