Project description

Aan de hand van massaspectrometrische technieken zullen we proteoom- en peptidoompatronen bestuderen gedurende het verouderingsproces van de nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. We zullen deze patronen eveneens bestuderen bij populaties met een verlengde levensduur (door mutatie in het Ins/IGF signaaltransductiepad, de mitochondria en via dietaire restrictie) en zoeken naar functionele overlap in de gevonden patronen.
