This European project aims to develop an evidence-based and standardized strategy for aggregate and cumulative risk assessment of chemicals in human foods and to integrate it into the food industry.
Ghent University contributes in in-vitro hepatotoxicity testing, risk assessment by cumulative exposure through dietary patterns and participation surveys of stakeholders groups, but also the health-risk balance and internationalization of the methodology.
