Project description

The main objectives of this project are to:

Define the requirements for a planet surfaced Food Production and Preparation System (FPPS);

Establish the technical, analytical and operational requirements to perform the metabolic and nutritional characterization of 4 cultivars of 4 crops;

Test 5 food processing steps per cultivar; nutritional and preliminary sensorial evaluation;

Define the basis for development of a plant growth mathematical model

Design a generic controlled plant chamber unit for the characterization of the cultivars.
