Project description

Recent developments make it possible to use light and flexible components for fast-moving machine parts. In this way, material, cost and energy savings can be achieved without compromising on productivity and quality. On the one hand, innovative simulation and optimization options within CAD tools can precisely quantify the impact of material savings and component choices on flexible behavior. On the other hand, recent research shows that it is possible to optimize the speed profile and drive settings to minimize the impact of flexibilities.
