Bio
Griet Bonne studeerde kunstwetenschappen en Curatorial Studies aan de Universiteit Gent. Haar doctoraatsonderzoek (UGent, FWO-beurs) focust op mechanische reproduceerbaarheid aan de hand van representaties van Rubens' oeuvre. In 2019 co-cureerde Bonne de tentoonstelling "Copyright Cobra: fotografie, film en drukwerk" (VANDENHOVE, Gent). Recente publicaties zijn onder meer "The Copy and the Real Thing” (Artl@s Bulletin, 2021), “Moved by Rubens” (Transcript Verlag, 2021), “Visualizing Rubens in Modern Art History” (Bielefeld University Press, 2022) en “Panoramic Ambitions” (History of Photography, 2023). Op 9 en 10 februari 2023, organiseerde ze het symposium en film programma "Rubens in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction: (Un)packing the Rubenianum Library" (Rubenianum en De Cinema, Antwerpen).
