Bio
Alexandra Sanchez is an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Spanish section of the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication. She teaches a broad range of courses that explore the dynamics of audiovisual, interlingual, and intercultural mediation. In her research, she examines the intersections of identity, resistance, and narrative in audio/visual content. She is particularly interested in how such content circulates globally, is reinterpreted in new contexts, and generates alternative imaginaries of connection and solidarity.
