Het Sarton Centrum voor Wetenschapsgeschiedenis (SARTON) is een interdisciplinair onderzoekscentrum, opgericht in 2003, dat de geschiedenis van kennisverwerving, kennisverspreiding en kennisgrondslagen bestudeert. Het centrum verenigt onderzoekers van verschillende vakgroepen en faculteiten van de universiteit. De onderzoeksprojecten overspannen verschillende eeuwen, regio's en culturen, alsook verschillende disciplines en domeinen.
