Description
Het Environmental Micro-CT of EMCT-systeem is een vrij unieke, op de gantry gebaseerde, high-resolution opstelling ontwikkeld voor snelle CT-scans en in-situ monitoring in de UGCT Core Facility. Het ontwerp van een horizontale gantry maakt de installatie van een groot aantal add-on modules mogelijk, zoals stroomcellen, drukplatforms, temperatuurplatforms, ... op een handige verticale positie zonder beperkingen op buizen en draden. Bovendien zijn de componenten gekozen om snelle en continue CT-scans mogelijk te maken met een snelheid tot 5 volledige rotaties per minuut.
