The annual time planning across the partner locations is set by the management board. The management board is composed by Prof. D. Schreurs as Chair, and by one representative of each partner (KU Leuven (Prof. P. Reynaert), UGent (Prof. J. Bauwelinck), VUB (Prof. J. Stiens), IMEC (Dr. B. Parvais). At each partner location, the detailed usage plan is defined by the management board member who is representing the resp. partner.

Research groups within the partner organizations who develop interest in the ROAMI infrastructure over time, thus beyond the co‐supervisors, can apply for access with the local management board member. Such requests are included in the local planning discussion, though co‐supervisors will get higher priority in getting allocated a time slot. As each partner defines themselves how the partner’s share in co‐financing and exploitation costs is covered, such additional internal users may be asked to contribute, e.g., proportionally to their usage, to complement the local co‐supervisors’ financial contributions.

In terms of valorization towards third parties, it has been agreed within the management board that each partner can offer measurement services to third parties, whether academic or industrial, during their respective usage time allocation. For this purpose, each partner can set the pricing themselves, mainly because the service is for a measurement modality, involving a range of instruments, and not just the RTO, as well as relevant expertise. The price setting for measurement services has to be market conform. Academic users, outside of any collaborative research projects, may be offered a reduced tariff or/and pay in‐kind by offering relevant consumables. Therefore, the actual price setting is to be tailored for each third party request in consultation with the resp. partner’s valorization office.
