In her doctoral project, she explores the politics of framing the world through windows of art and love. She is also a member of the editorial board of the academic philosophy journal De Uil van Minerva (The owl of Minerva). In addition to her academic work, Alexandra is an active writer and performer. She co-founded RuimteTuig, a local art collective that annually organizes a festival showcasing experimental art and pilot projects.
