Project description

Injudicious use of acaricides to treat mange in cattle has led to emerging resistance. An assay to detect acaricide resistance will be developed using a bottom-up approach, based on the farmers’and veterinarians’opinion of the ‘deal’diagnostic tool. These insights will be used to develop targeted communication strategies to promote the uptake of diagnostics and sustainable use of acaricides.
