Project description

This project aims to assess whether Brazil, India and China will challenge the neoliberal norm of the free movement of capital. Firtst, the project analyses various social forces' positions on capital controls within Brazil, India and China. Second, the study examines how these controls within Brazil, India and China. Second, the study examines how these positions result in trespective national policy stances on capital controls regulations at the international monetary fund (imf).
